<h2>To start with, could you give us a brief overview of the Groover concept ?</h2>Of course! <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://groover.co/en/?utm_source=indirect&amp;utm_medium=external_media&amp;utm_channel=baseformusic_itw">Groover</a> is the platform that allows independent artists and their representatives to promote their music to the media, radio stations, playlists, labels and professionals of their choice, with the guarantee that their music will be heard and that they will get written responses from them. The media &amp; professionals can decide to share the tracks received or contact the artists - which they do on average in 30% of cases - or simply write a feedback.In 6 years, more than 4 million feedbacks have been sent by more than 3,000 media &amp; pros to more than 400,000 artists, more than 1 million shares have been made and 1,000 labels have been signed, at least which we know about.<h2>What need inspired the Groover concept ?</h2>There are over 120,000 new tracks released on Spotify every day. That's staggering... It's become almost impossible for artists to get their music known to those who can help them to emerge, to stand out from the crowd. They send hundreds of emails that go unanswered. And the media and professionals are just as frustrated at not being able to listen to all the tracks they receive. This is the number one problem for independent artists today.So our obsession with Groover from the outset has been to offer artists this access to music-discovering media &amp; pros, and to guarantee that the tracks are listened to by the media &amp; pros contacted. In fact, to recreate this access between all artists and those who can help them get known.<node-image width="80%" src="https://blog-baseformusic.s3.eu-north-1.amazonaws.com/1a43Curators-Pic-Screenshot.png" alt="Groover plateform"></node-image><h2>What is your current role and what does it involve ?</h2>As co-founder, my role changes very regularly, and that makes it exciting. These days, I'm in charge of all Groover's business and music activities, which takes up about half the team and aims to: grow the community of artists and look after them throughout the experience, on the other hand grow the community of media &amp; pros and monitor their activity and the value they bring to artists. These tasks are split between 3 talented sub-teams: the marketing team, the success &amp; operations team, and the media &amp; pros team. I also created and coordinate <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://obsessions.groover.co/">Groover Obsessions</a>, our accelerator dedicated to the most promising artists spotted on Groover.<h2>Let's talk a bit about Groover Obsessions. What is your long-term objective for this project ?</h2><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://obsessions.groover.co/">Groover Obsessions is our artist accelerator</a>. We created it to provide further support for artists who have been spotted thanks to their excellent results on Groover and who need help with promotion and marketing to move on to the next stage. And of course, Groover is one of the weapons we use to help them.We currently support around 250 artists at the time of their releases, with the particularity of being very reactive and available, and creating new opportunities for them to play live via dedicated evenings in Paris, London, New York &amp; elsewhere, creating content, and supporting them with a quality brand. The artists are divided into 4 families based on the 4 elements: .AIR, .WAVE, .TERRA, .AIR. We see Groover Obsessions as our curation entity, to highlight the artists who stand out on Groover in an attractive way and create links between them. The first is to fill in your profile properly, and choose the musical genres on your profile carefully: 1 to 3 maximum, so as to get relevant recommendations, even if it means updating them from one campaign to the next if your releases change style. I also recommend using the filters to contact the most suitable media &amp; professionals. I've also noticed that the most satisfied artists have systematically contacted more than 30, or even 50 media outlets &amp; professionals. Which is logical, because Groover's main value comes from the possibility of receiving a large number of responses guaranteed, and this maximises the chances of obtaining opportunities, shares and connections.Another point about the timing of using Groover: if you're targeting independent playlists on Spotify in particular, I'd advise you to send your track on or after the day of release, not before. On the other hand, you can contact radio stations, labels and other professionals before the release date. (photo: Leastronaute)<h2>Do you have an outstanding experience to share with our community ?</h2>In 6 years, there are so many! Every time I think about it, I think of something different. There's one night that stands out, it was in December 2021 and we were organising our first party at La Marbrerie to celebrate Groover Obsessions' first anniversary. An eclectic line-up of emerging artists we love, just like Groover: Mathieu Saïkaly, Ninety's Story, Alvin Chris, Cuarto Mundo. It was just before the last concert hall closure of the COVID period, so it was risky given the capacity of the hall and there was a feeling of the end of the world. The audience wanted to commune with the music and we were able to create the atmosphere of a mini-festival, we filled the hall to capacity, the whole Groover team was there, lots of artists, media &amp; professional Groover users. We all had an unforgettable evening, and felt a strong sense of achievement and belonging. Talking to artists programmed at the 'Spotify house', I was delighted to learn that one of them had met his publisher, another his tour manager and the last his manager on Groover. It's exactly for these kinds of connections that we created the platform.<h2>How do you see the music industry evolving over the next few years ?</h2>It's very difficult to say... In 6 years alone, things have changed a lot. Artists and press officers were still sending CDs through the post, and online media and radio stations were the primary target. These are still important today, not least because of the legitimacy they confer on the artists they share, but other players have emerged and taken on greater importance in promoting artists. In particular, independent playlists and influential accounts on TikTok and Instagram, which have changed the way content is shared to match the increasingly short attention spans of the audience.I'm curious and impatient to see these new players evolve and perhaps others emerge. I have the feeling that the relays of influence will continue to be just as important, if not more so, even if the link between artists and their audience can also be forged directly on social networks. It will continue to be difficult to stand out. I see two trends emerging, which are already underway: some artists will try to stick as closely as possible to the trend to reach a larger mass of people, while others will try to be more and more radical to stand out and reach a niche of hardcore listeners and fans. Je conseille également d’utiliser les filtres pour contacter les médias &amp; pros les plus adaptés. À chaque fois que j’y réfléchis, je pense à quelque chose de différent. Il y a une soirée qui ressort, c’était en décembre 2021 et on organisait notre première soirée à La Marbrerie pour fêter le premier anniversaire de Groover Obsessions. Une programmation éclectique à l’image de Groover d’artistes émergents qu’on adore : Mathieu Saïkaly, Ninety’s Story, Alvin Chris, Cuarto Mundo. C’était juste avant la dernière fermeture des salles de concerts de la période COVID, c’était risqué vu la capacité de la salle et il y avait un sentiment de fin du monde. Le public avait envie de communier avec la musique et on a pu créer l’atmosphère d’un mini-festival, on a rempli la salle entièrement, toute l’équipe Groover était là, beaucoup d’artistes, médias &amp; pros utilisateurs de Groover. On a tous passé une soirée inoubliable, ressenti un sentiment fort d’accomplissement et d’être à notre place. En parlant avec des artistes programmés à la « maison Spotify », j’ai appris avec plaisir que l’un d’entre eux avait rencontré son éditeur, une autre artiste son tourneur et le dernier son manager sur Groover. C’est exactement pour ce type de connexions que nous avons créé la plateforme. <h2>Comment vois-tu évoluer l’industrie musicale dans les prochaines années ?</h2>C’est très difficile à dire... Rien qu’en 6 ans, les choses ont beaucoup changé. Les artistes et attaché.e.s de presse envoyaient encore des CD par la poste, les médias en ligne et radios étaient la première cible. Ceux-ci ont encore de l’importance aujourd’hui, notamment par la légitimité qu’ils confèrent aux artistes partagés, mais d’autres acteurs ont émergé et pris plus d’importance pour faire connaître les artistes. En particulier les playlists indépendantes et les comptes influents sur TikTok et Instagram, qui ont fait évoluer la façon de partager les contenus pour correspondre à des courbes d’attention de plus en plus courtes de la part de l’audience.Je suis curieux et impatient de voir ces nouveaux acteurs évoluer et peut-être d’autres naître, j’ai le sentiment que les relais d’influence seront toujours aussi importants si ce n’est plus, et ce même si le lien entre les artistes et leur audience peut aussi se constituer de façon directe sur les réseaux sociaux.&nbsp;Il continuera d’être difficile de se démarquer. Je vois deux tendances se dessiner, qui sont déjà en marche : certains artistes essaieront de coller le plus possible à la tendance pour toucher une plus grande masse de personnes, d’autres essaieront au contraire d’être de plus en plus radicaux pour se démarquer et toucher une niche d’auditeurs et de fans hardcore. <h3>What is the role of an Ad Studio Country Lead?</h3>As Ad Studio Country Lead, FR &amp; NL, I take care of business development in France and the Netherlands, of Spotify Ad Studio which is our self-service advertising platform allowing advertisers and their agencies, partners music (labels, artists, tourers, festivals, etc.), as well as podcasters or studios, whatever their size, to set up audio and/or video advertising campaigns on <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.spotify.com/">Spotify</a> in order to reach the right audiences at the right time and via the right formats.<node-image width="100%" src="https://blog-baseformusic.s3.eu-north-1.amazonaws.com/fb95spotify%20format.png" alt="Base for Music Spotify format"></node-image><h3>What are the benefits for artists of using Spotify ad formats?</h3>To begin with, the advertising experience on Spotify is very premium and non-intrusive for users: only 2-3 minutes of advertising per hour on average. As an artist, you will then be able to target fanbases or even musical genres to showcase your projects and your releases/tours. Note that Spotify has +600M users, of which no less than 379M are free and therefore eligible to receive advertising campaigns (Source:<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://newsroom.spotify.com/2024-02-06/spotify-reports-fourth-quarter-2023-earnings/"> Q4 2023 Spotify earnings</a>), which is far from negligible.Also, Spotify generates 27% higher engagement than on social networks (Source: “Radio, Digital and Social Media from Historical benchmarks” study, Spotify, 2021) thus allowing artists and creators to forge a strong bond with their audiences at the time of campaigns and user exposure. It’s a real need, daily and almost vital. We also observe this in our reports, whether on the increasing volume of the number of Spotify users or on the time spent on the platform by the latter, also up sharply (on average +2h30 per day for freemium users), or even on the type of content consumed by our users which is increasingly diversified. On the content side, streaming allows all artists or creators to find their audience(s) and connect to their fans on Spotify and make a living from it. Our&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://loudandclear.byspotify.com/">Loud&amp;Clear</a>&nbsp;report perfectly illustrates these elements and Spotify’s contribution to music industry revenue. For example, Spotify returned +$9B to the music industry in 2023, including +$4.5B to indies; which is a record. So there is room for any artist/creator. (highly known, in development, independent, emerging...) and therefore easier accessibility to its audience thanks to Spotify.<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://blog.baseformusic.com/articles/a-musician-friendly-guide-to-spotify-s-algorithms">AI, which is an important subject for Spotify </a>and which is part of our culture and at the center of our innovation (e.g. launch of our AI DJ in 2023), will play a crucial role in the years to come and will undoubtedly enable artists and their teams to design even more effective and personalized advertising campaigns.Also, it is interesting to note that it is, paradoxically, harder for an artist to emerge at the moment: the implementation of a marketing/media campaign is therefore essential and necessary to expand your audience, build loyalty and increase your performance (streams, etc.).<article-banner></article-banner><h3>So, which advertising formats should we prioritize?</h3>The ideal is to combine audio and video formats in order to reach audiences in different contexts and via different (complementary) creatives. Indeed, for example, video campaigns are only broadcast to users who are focused on the Spotify App. Once a user no longer has the Spotify App (desktop or mobile) in the foreground, they will only be exposed to audio campaigns. Going for information, questioning yourself, putting things in parallel and highlighting them is necessary in order to have, when the time comes, the right reflexes or an objective and reasoned judgment/decision. Not limiting yourself to your area of expertise is also useful, at least taking an interest in the different projects of your company, different professions or your cross-functional partners. (à forte notoriété, en développement, indépendant.e, émergent.e...) et donc une accessibilité à son audience plus facile grâce à Spotify.<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://blog.baseformusic.com/fr/articles/a-musician-friendly-guide-to-spotify-s-algorithms">L'IA qui est un sujet important pour Spotify</a> et qui fait partie de notre culture et au centre de notre innovation (ex : lancement de notre AI DJ en 2023) va jouer un rôle crucial dans les années à venir et permettra sans nul doute aux artistes et à leurs équipes de concevoir des campagnes publicitaires encore plus efficaces et personnalisées.Aussi, il est intéressant de noter qu'il est, paradoxalement, plus dur d'émerger pour un.e artiste à l'heure actuelle : la mise en place de campagne marketing/média est donc primordiale et nécessaire pour élargir son audience, la fidéliser et augmenter ses performances (streams, etc.).<article-banner></article-banner><h3>Alors, quels formats publicitaires doit-on privilégier ?</h3>L'idéal est de combiner les formats audio et vidéo afin de toucher les audiences dans des contextes différents et via des créas différentes (complémentaires). En effet, à titre d'exemple, les campagnes vidéo ne sont diffusées qu'aux users qui sont en focus sur l'App Spotify. Dès lors qu'un user n'a plus l'App Spotify (desktop ou mobile) au premier plan, il ne sera exposé qu'à des campagnes audio. La publicité sur Spotify : entretien avec Adrien Jimenez, Ad Studio Country Lead chez Spotify

<h1>Clément Souchier, a songwriter turned music industry entrepreneur</h1>Clément Souchier is the founder of <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.creaminal.com/">Creaminal</a>, an independent image music agency (which he has since sold to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.alter-k.com/">Alter K Music Group</a>) that finds existing music and produces original music for image professionals. Before that, he used to provide his own music for films and adverts as a songwriter and composer. With the creation of Creaminal, his aim was to bring together independent artists and labels to offer their talents on films, commercials and video games. "We wanted to create something to compete with the majors, an alternative. The initiative was very well received. At the start, it was mainly about representing artists, and little by little these artists got their own labels."<h2>How does music synchronisation work?</h2><h3>There are three types of synchronisation: </h3><ul><li>Fiction: First of all, the subject of the film means that a track has more or less synchronisation potential. It's the subject, the place and the time of the film that determine what we're looking for... I don't look for the same music depending on whether the action takes place in Romania in the 80s or in the US today. Then there has to be a certain uniqueness, otherwise the producer and director will prefer to buy music straight from the bookshop. What's more, if the music has a secondary or accompanying role, the image professional will turn to a less expensive title. On the other hand, if the music has a major role, for example in the end credits or in a cult scene, it makes sense to use a commercial title that adds meaning and/or impact to the sequence.</li><li>Advertising: "What often works in advertising are tracks that can exacerbate the emotion being sought and/or the target audience. Music in an advertising format, i.e. a rather short one, will act as a catalyst, a highlighter, to reveal and support what the advertiser and his agency are trying to say". Families of music based on emotions have a greater potential for synchronisation: feminine, empowering, positive, unifying, modern, powerful, badass, assertive. These are known in the industry as tracks with strong synchro potential or "Sync Friendly" tracks. "Tracks that are more hybrid in terms of the emotions they evoke are often more difficult to use, because we prefer something that is more clear-cut, with a more exacerbated emotion. It should also be noted that you can look for emotion, but not necessarily sadness, and that explicit lyrics are very rare. What we do like to do, though, and at the risk of it sounding contradictory, is to place tracks that don't seem particularly suited to synchro and for which there's a magic that happens between the advert and the track; and these are generally award-winners." But to achieve this, you also need the client to be on board, because it often represents a greater risk. And when it comes to risk, it's not uncommon for customers to prefer either to buy well-known, stale titles - even if it means paying a lot of money for them - or cheap bookstore titles... But in my opinion, neither of these are likely to make a real difference to a campaign... Well-known titles tend to overwhelm films - in the sense that the title will attract all the attention to the detriment of the brand - and bookstore titles tend to make them bland. In my opinion, only singular titles that are not yet ultra-famous can make a brand shine, so we'll say "this brand's music is too good".</li><li>Video games: "In-game music is something that has been thwarted by complex negotiations between game publishers and collective management societies (such as SACEM). French composers have been completely sidelined by video game studios, with a few exceptions. Today, there are very few French composers for video games, because the gaming studios want to be able to buy the rights on a buy-out basis (= buy everything and pay no proportional remuneration), whereas the French vision of authors' rights, which I defend, is to have a non-transferability of your rights, i.e. to be paid on each copy sold, whereas the Anglo-Saxons just want to give you a 'flat-fee'. It took us years to find a system that worked in France. It's mainly used for original music created especially for the company, because video game studios want to own the music. On the other hand, on a synchronisation, there can easily be French artists."</li></ul> "My favourite project to work on was clearly the feature film La Tortue Rouge, produced by Studios Ghibli, with original music by composer Laurent Perez del Mar. It was a really special experience - it was a film without words, so the music played both the role of accompaniment, but also almost a dialogue role."<h3>The main problem with music synchronisers</h3>At Creaminal, Clément very quickly came up against the problem of the lack of tools in the industry for managing large catalogs. "I'd been hoping for a long time that a tool would come along. But when I didn't see anyone doing it, I created an in-house tool to receive, store and share music easily, with a major music description feature to make it easier to search for and find the right music to offer." This tool began to generate quite a bit of interest from artists and labels, but also from other players in the music industry. It was at this precise moment that the idea of Bridge Audio emerged, a tool that could be just as useful for composers/artists, whether pro or amateur, as it could be for players in the music industry (music synchronisation agencies, media, labels, artists, etc.). He therefore decided to sell Creaminal to AlterK and create this new company: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://bridge.audio">bridge.audio</a>.<h2>The creation of <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Bridge.audio">Bridge.audio</a>, the first audio cloud</h2>"It's like Google Drive having a baby with Spotify". The tool responds to issues specific to the audio industry, such as allowing only streaming or downloading on a shared track, the ability to add all the metadata to files and an AI description of each track (musically, stylistically, emotionally, structurally, type of voice, etc). In two words, productivity and discoverability. To be able to store files, have all the information linked to the tracks and make it easy to find them. "We chose to offer a free version to make it as easy to adopt as wetransfer or soundcloud". <h3>A word about the future of <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Bridge.audio">Bridge.audio</a></h3>"On Bridge, we've set up Workspaces for working alone or as part of a team: assets are stored, and you share them with others for synchronisation, promotion, A&amp;R, exchanges with artists, etc. The tool is used by composers, artists and all those around them (labels, publishers, tour managers, PR, etc.), as well as by companies who want to share their work with others. The tool is used by composers, artists and their entourage (labels, publishers, tour operators, managers, PR, etc.), as well as by companies that 'consume' music, such as Chanel and TBWA, and by music supervisors. In the middle of all this, we're going to create marketplaces, called HUBs, the first of which is dedicated to Synchronisation: the Synch Hub. As a rights holder, you'll be able to decide to put all or some of your tracks on this Hub, and music labels and supervisors will be invited to join the Hub to search for a specific track, using our AI. We've just launched this service, and we've already got over 60 labels/publishers offering their catalogs and over thirty buyers. The prospects for development are very exciting As far as future developments on Bridge are concerned, we're going to continue to improve the user experience and add new functions to both the workspaces and the HUB. We reckon that we've only made 30% of the final product, and future developments include the effort to make our music more discoverable and to add a mobile version. <h2>Clément Souchier, un auteur-compositeur devenu entrepreneur dans l'industrie musicale&nbsp;</h2>Clément Souchier est le fondateur de <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.creaminal.com/">Creaminal</a>, l’agence indépendante de musique à l’image (qu’il a vendu depuis à <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.alter-k.com/">Alter K Music Group</a>) qui trouve des musiques existantes et produit des musiques originales pour les professionnels de l’image. Avant cela, il proposait lui-même sa musique pour des films &amp; publicités en tant qu'auteur-compositeur. Avec la création de Creaminal, son objectif était de fédérer des artistes et des labels indépendants pour proposer leurs talents sur des films, des pubs, des jeux vidéos. “On voulait créer une offre concurrente aux majors, une alternative. L'initiative a été très bien reçue. Au départ, c'était surtout de la représentation d’artistes et petit à petit ces artistes ont eu des labels.”&nbsp; <h2>Comment fonctionne la synchronisation musicale ?</h2><h3>On distingue trois familles dans la synchronisation :&nbsp;</h3><ul><li>Fiction : Tout d'abord, le sujet du film fait qu’un titre a plus ou moins de potentiel de synchronisation dessus. C’est en effet le sujet, le lieu et l’époque du film qui déterminent ce qu’on recherche… Je ne cherche pas la même musique selon que l’action du film se déroule en Roumanie dans les années 80 ou aux US aujourd’hui. Ensuite, il doit y avoir une certaine singularité, sinon la prod et le réal préféreront acheter directement de la musique de librairie. De plus, si la musique a un rôle secondaire, ou d'accompagnement, le professionnel de l'image va se tourner vers un titre moins cher. En revanche, si la musique a un rôle majeur, par exemple avec le générique de fin ou sur une scène culte, il fait sens d’utiliser un titre du commerce qui apporte une signification et/ou un impact supplémentaire à la séquence. </li><li>Publicité : "Ce qui va souvent marcher en publicité, ce sont des titres qui peuvent exacerber l’émotion recherchée et/ou le public visé. Une musique sur un format publicitaire, donc plutôt court, va jouer un rôle de catalyseur, de surligneur, pour révéler et appuyer ce que l’annonceur et son agence&nbsp; cherchent à dire”. Les familles de musique basées sur des émotions ont un plus fort potentiel de synchronisation : féminine, enpowerment, positive, fédératrice, moderne, puissante, badass, revendiqué. On parle dans le milieu de titre à fort potentiel Synchro ou de titres “Sync Friendly”. “Les titres qui sont plutôt hybrides dans les émotions qu’ils évoquent sont souvent plus difficiles à utiliser, car on préfèrera quelque chose de plus tranché, avec une émotion plus exacerbée”. "Il faut aussi noter qu'on peut chercher l’émotion, mais pas nécessairement la tristesse, et que les explicit lyrics sont très rares". “Ce qu’on aime bien pourtant , et au risque que ça puisse sembler contradictoire, c'est placer des titres qui ne semblent pas spécialement adaptés à la synchro et pour lesquels il y a une magie qui s’opère entre la publicité et le titre ; et là généralement ce sont des awards-winners. Mais pour y parvenir, il faut aussi que le client soit partant, car cela représente souvent un plus grand risque. Et en matière de risque, il n’est pas rare que les clients préfèrent soit acheter des titres connus et éculés - quitte à les payer très cher - ou des titres de librairie pas chers… Alors qu’à mon sens, ni l’un, ni l’autre ne sont propices à faire véritablement la différence sur une campagne… Les titres connus ont tendance à phagocyter les films - dans le sens où le titre va attirer toute l’attention au détriment de la marque - et les titres de librairie à les rendre fades. Seul, à mon sens, les titres singuliers et pas encore ultra connus peuvent faire briller la marque, on dira alors “trop bien la musique de telle marque”.&nbsp; </li><li>Jeux vidéos : “La musique “in-game” (dans le jeu), c’est quelque chose qui a été contrarié par des négociations complexes entre éditeurs de jeux et société des gestions collectives (comme la SACEM). Les compositeurs français ont été complètement écartés par les studios de jeux vidéos, à quelques exceptions près. Aujourd’hui, il y a très peu de français qui composent pour les jeux vidéos, car les studios gaming ont envie de pouvoir acheter les droits sur le principe de buy-out (= acheter tout et ne pas payer de rémunération proportionnelle), là où la vision des droits d’auteurs à la française, que je défends, c’est d’avoir une incessibilité de tes droits, c'est-à-dire d’être payé sur chaque exemplaire vendu, tandis que les Anglo-Saxons veulent juste te filer un “flat-fee”. On a mis des années à trouver un système qui marche en France. C’est surtout présent sur les musiques originales créées spécialement pour l’entreprise, car les studios de jeux vidéos veulent être propriétaire de la musique. En revanche, sur une synchronisation, il peut facilement y avoir des artistes français."&nbsp; </li></ul>"Le projet sur lequel j’ai préféré travailler, c’est clairement le long métrage La Tortue Rouge, film produit par les studios Ghibli, avec de la musique originale du compositeur Laurent Perez del Mar. C’était vraiment une expérience à part , c’était un film sans parole, donc la musique jouait à la fois le rôle d’accompagnement, mais aussi presque un rôle de dialogue."&nbsp; <h3>La principale problématique des synchroniseurs musicaux</h3>Au sein de Creaminal, Clément s’est très vite heurté à la problématique de&nbsp; l’absence d’outils dans l’industrie pour gérer des grands catalogues. “J’ai longtemps espéré qu’un outil verrait le jour. Mais, ne voyant personne le faire, j’ai créé un outil interne pour recevoir, stocker et partager de la musique facilement, avec une fonctionnalité majeure de description de la musique pour plus facilement chercher et trouver les bonnes musiques à proposer.” Cet outil a commencé à susciter pas mal d’intérêts auprès d’artistes et de labels, mais aussi auprès d'autres acteurs de l'industrie musicale. C’est à ce moment précis que l’idée de Bridge audio a émergée, un outil qui pouvait aussi bien trouver son utilité pour les compositeurs/artistes, qu’ils soient pro ou amateurs, que pour les acteurs de l’industrie musicale (Agence de synchronisation musicale, médias, labels, artistes, etc). Il a donc pris la décision de vendre Creaminal à AlterK et de créer cette nouvelle société : <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://bridge.audio">bridge.audio</a>.&nbsp;<h2>La création de <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Bridge.audio">Bridge.audio</a>, le premier cloud audio&nbsp;</h2>“Google drive qui aurait fait un bébé avec Spotify”. L’outil répond à des problématiques spécifiques aux métiers de l’audio, comme d’autoriser uniquement le streaming ou le download sur une track partagée, le fait de pouvoir ajouter toutes les métadatas aux fichiers ainsi qu’une description par IA de chaque morceau (musicalement, stylistiquement, émotions, structures, type de voix etc). En deux mots, productivité et “découvrabilité”. Pouvoir stocker des fichiers, avoir toutes les informations liés aux titres et permettre de le retrouver facilement. “On a fait le choix de proposer une version gratuite pour que ce soit aussi simple à adopter qu’un wetransfer ou un soundcloud”&nbsp; <h3>Un mot sur le futur de <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Bridge.audio">Bridge.audio</a>&nbsp;</h3>“Sur Bridge, on a mis en place les Workspaces pour travailler seul ou en équipe : des assets sont stockés et tu les partages avec d’autres à des fins de synchronisation, de promotion, d’A&amp;R, d’échange avec des artistes etc. L'outil est aussi bien utilisé par des compo, artistes) que tout leur entourage (labels, éditeurs, tourneurs, managers, PR…), mais aussi par des entreprises qui “consomme” de la musique comme Chanel ou TBWA, ainsi que par des superviseurs musicaux. Au milieu de tout ça, nous allons créer des places de marché, que l’on appelle les HUB et dont le premier est consacré à la Synchronisation : le Hub Synch. En tant qu’ayant droit tu vas pouvoir décider de mettre tout ou une partie de tes titres sur ce Hub, et les marques &amp; superviseurs musicaux vont être invités à venir rejoindre le Hub pour chercher, grâce à notre IA, un titre spécifique. Nous venons de lancer ce service, avec déjà plus de 60 labels / éditeurs qui proposent leur catalogue et plus d’une trentaine d’acheteurs. Les perspectives de développement sont super enthousiasmantes Pour ce qui est des développements à venir sur Bridge : on va continuer d’améliorer l’expérience utilisateur et de nouvelles fonctionnalités tant sur les workspaces que sur le HUB. On considère qu’on a fait seulement 30% du produit final et parmi les évolutions à venir, il y a cet effort sur la découvrabilité, rendre sa musique plus facile à découvrir et d'ajouter une version mobile.
