De JMK$ à Khali, en passant par Tedax Max, on s’est plongé tête la première dans la scène rap fr pour tenter de distinguer ce qu’on pourrait appeler la nouvelle vague. Après avoir référencé les artistes qu’on apprécie (même si on aurait aimé en mettre plus), on s’est permis un petit focus sur la DMV et la plug music, qui gagnent de plus en plus d'exposition. Enfin, on vous lâchera quelques sources intéressantes pour voir ce qui se passe dans la nouvelle vague du rap fr. Si le rap est le style de musique N°1 (presque) partout dans le monde, c’est grâce à sa très grande variété stylistique : il y en a pour tout le monde. Une telle émulation autour d’un genre ne peut qu’être bénéfique pour le genre en lui-même, mais ça engendre aussi un aspect négatif, celui de la copie, ou de la recette musicale usée à l’infini. Quand une certaine sonorité obtient un succès, elle est déclinée encore et encore jusqu’au dégoût. C’est normal, comme le dit l’adage, c’est la rançon de la gloire. Ce qu’il apporte en termes de sonorités et d’univers, est incomparable.
